The Role:

What they are looking for is a IT Engineer with a background in deployment and implementation of cloud, hyper-converged, and virtualized data center solutions. It's a post-sales / implementation focused engineer role. As a Solutions Engineer, your responsibilities will focus on designing, implementing/deploying, and troubleshooting the latest generation of storage, cloud, and virtualized solutions. This role is focused on deploying systems, and is not an admin-only type role.

What you need:

• Must have 5+ years’ hands-on implementation and deployment experience in data center solutions; focused on
  • Dell-EMC -- VxRail, Unity, PowerStore, RecoverPoint, RecoverPoint for VMware, Avamar, Data Domain
  • VMware .-- vSphere, SRM, vSAN
  • Servers -- Dell, Cisco
  • Hyper-converged -- Nutanix
  • Backup solutions/DR -- Veeam, Cohesity
  • Data center connectivity -- iSCSI, fibre channel
• Must have great people skills, and client facing skills
• Must have good documentation skills.
• Vendor certifications are a plus (e.g., VCP, VCAP, EMC certs).
• Experience in any of the following will be a plus: Azure, AWS, VMware Cloud, Cisco HyperFlex, PowerMax, RP4VMs, PowerFlex, PowerProtect Data Manager, vRealize, NSX, VMware Cloud Foundation, FCoE, HP servers, SAN, Backup
• This is a remote role but the individual must reside in the East or Central region (US), and must be authorized to work in the US.
