Our client is a Top Microsoft Partner and Global IT Solution Provider that specializes a broad range of solutions for enterprise clients nation-wide with focus on Azure Cloud IaaS and PaaS solutions. Due to explosive growth of their cloud business unit, they are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with experience in assessing clients requirements and recommending Cloud / IaaS solutions to mid-sized and enterprise clients. The Role:

The ideal candidate will be a Cloud SME with extensive experience in developing and proposing solutions for clients leveraging Cloud IaaS. The role will focus on assessing client needs, advising clients, creating/proposing solutions and roadmaps, and designing IaaS solutions and related SOWs. This individual will focus on building relationships with key stakeholders to understand their clients needs (pre-sales focused role). He/she will also provide valuable input and guidance on go-to-market strategies and thought leadership for product requirements. This is a low travel position; travel perhaps once a quarter, as most.

Requirements:

• Must have 10+ years experience in IT with 5+ years experience in pre-sales solution design and architecture of Cloud and Hybrid Cloud solutions.
• Must have Subject Matter Expert level experience in Azure Cloud, IaaS, and hybrid cloud architectures; Azure IaaS, PaaS, Hybrid Cloud (Azure VMware solutions, VMware Cloud/VMC on AWS, Azure Stack HCI, workload mobility.
• Must have a consultative demeanor - able to work in customer environments at all levels of the organization
• Experience in any of the following is a plus: AWS Web Services, Google GCP, cloud backup, DR, Cohesity, and Druva.
• Vendor certifications will be a plus.
