One of clients has an outstanding opportunity for a Enterprise Networking Sales Engineer (pre-sales focused) in the region. Our client is a global leader the security industry (1B public company; OEM). They’ve developed security solutions designed to meet the needs of the most demanding Enterprise customers – to help protect them against disruptions in availability, performance, and security. They are highly respected for their innovation and are considered leaders in protecting companies against a broad range security threats.

The Role:
What they are looking for is a Sales Engineer to work with Enterprise customers in the region to handle pre-sales engineering as well as proof of concepts (PoC). This role is for a technical resource that can position and design solutions and demonstrate their extensive capabilities in order to help close potential sales. It is a dynamic and exciting role. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in enterprise networking, and will be trained to on a wide range of innovative security solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 5+ years experience in pre-sales engineering in Enterprise Networking and/or Network Security solutions (hardware and software solutions)
  • Must have also have extensive experience and solid understanding of
    • Routing, switching, firewalls, network security
    • routing protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, VoIP, BGP),
    • networking topologies (LAN, WAN, MPLS, packet-switched networks, etc.)
    • service assurance and/or network performance management
    • Packet Analysis / Sniffer,
  • Experience in any of the following will be a plus: network security, Linux
  • Must have excellent communications skills, customer facing skills, and great teaming skills.
  • Must be able to travel approximately 30% in the region.
