One of clients has an outstanding opportunity for seasoned pre-sales oriented Security Sales Engineer. Our client is a global leader the cyber security industry (1B public company; OEM). They’ve developed security solutions designed to meet the needs of the most demanding enterprise and service provider customers – to help protect them against disruptions in availability, performance, and security. Their solutions provide real-time, pervasive visibility, detection and mitigation to address the challenges of a constantly changing threat landscape. They are highly respected for their innovation and are considered leaders in protecting companies against a broad range security threats and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks by leveraging their Network Detection and Response (NDR) platforms.

The Role:
What they are looking for is a Security Sales Engineer to work with Enterprise Customers in the Central Region to handle pre-sales engineering as well as proof of concepts (PoC). This role is for a technical resource that can position, design and implement solutions and demonstrate their extensive capabilities in order to help close potential sales. It is a dynamic and exciting role. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter experts in a wide range of security disciplines including DDoS and NDR.

Qualifications:

• Must have 5+ years experience in pre-sales engineering; positioning hardware and software security related solutions to enterprise clients
• Must be a subject matter expert in DDoS and/or Network Detection and Response (NDR)
• Must have also have extensive experience and solid understanding of
  • Routing and switching,
  • routing protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, BGP, VoIP)
  • networking topologies (LAN, WAN, MPLS, etc.)
• Experience in any of the following will be a big plus
  • gateways and applications
  • MITRE ATT&CK, ATP, BGP, Flowspec, SOAR*, XDR*, EDR* NDR*
  • network security, cloud security, trend analysis, Kills Chains,
  • Packet Analysis / Sniffer,
  • Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) like Threat Quotient.
  • Hands on technical experience with Incident Response -IR
    
    
• Experience in any of the following will also be a plus:

• SIEM knowledge
• SDN/NFV, Virtualization,
• Public/Private Cloud,
• Certification (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE),
• Experience conducting or participating in security audits,
• Ability to interpret packet captures.

• Must have excellent communications skills, customer facing skills, and great teaming skills.
• Must be able to travel approximately up to 30% (within the region).
