Our client, a well established Global manufacturer, is looking to hire an IT Security Manager to enhance the company’s overall security posture. What they are looking for is an IT Security Manager to assess their current risks and vulnerabilities, recommend remediation plans, oversee implementation of the plans, and then continually monitor and enhance their security related initiatives. The Role:

As the IT Security Manager, you’ll be responsible for evaluating current security controls, assessing the IT environment in a holistic end-to-end manner, including network security, application security, and data center and cloud infrastructure security. The Security Manager will initially have three direct reports, and will work closely with cross functional teams in IT to recommend and implement your security recommendations. You’ll provide strategic guidance, thought leadership, and expertise focused on making the company’s IT environment as secure as possible. You'll be recommending solutions, policies, and best practices that teams will implement, and then leveraging those solutions to make ongoing improvements. It is a high-impact and dynamic role; you be the "security leader" and subject matter expert.

Requirements:

• Must have 4+ years experience in the security and information security fields, as a Security Engineer or Manager, ISSM, Security Architect, or similar roles.
• Must have hands-on experience with IT security audits and assessments, and recommending improvements, solutions, policies, procedures, training
• Must have experience with broad range of security platforms and systems (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, A/V, EDR, email filtering, security for O365 and Azure)
• Must have good communications, positive values, and good teaming skills.
• Experience working in manufacturing environment (understands IT and OT) is a plus
• Industry certifications are a plus; (e.g, CISSP, etc.)
